Supreme drop a controversial line with NYC artist Andres Serrano

Supreme are never too away far from a collaboration and they never disappoint! Their partner in the latest project collab comes in the form of Andres Serrano, a NYC artist and photographer. His work is somewhat controversial. His more notable pieces incorporate corpses, the use of feces and bodily fluids combined with religious imagery. This has led to Serrano being denounced by Senators and receiving death threats from protesting christians. His most famous piece is a 1987 photograph labeled ‘Piss Christ’ which depicts a small plastic crucifix submerged in a glass tank of the artist’s urine

Supreme and Serrano worked on projects featuring three pieces of art. It includes hooded sweatshirts, sweatpants, graphic tees and a Vans collaboration made up of a Sk8-Hi, Chukka, and Old Skool featuring Serrano’s images.
